Recipe - Apple Upside Down Cake        

This recipe is cooked using Bessemer's 3.0lt Classic Casserole & Lid

1 packet of butter cake mix      
1 small tin Ardmona apple      
1 egg      
2 tbls margarine      
4 tbls brown sugar      
apple juice      
Dutch cinnamon

Melt butter and add brown sugar. Cook until looks like caramel. Turn down heat to low. Place the apple in a pan.

Make up cake mix as directed on packet using apple juice for liquid. Pour gently over the apple mixture. Cook for about 17 - 20 minutes.

OTHER FRUIT MAY BE USED AS INGREDIENTS such as  Apples, Apricots, Plums, Cherries,

If using fruit juice, thicken with cornflour - use as sauce.
