Honey Soy Chicken Wings with Steamed Rice 

HONEY SOY CHICKEN WINGS With STEAMED RICE

Chicken Wings

700g chicken wings, cut at the joints
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup red wine
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 garlic cloves chopped
3 tablespoons sesame seeds


Heat wok to medium and brown chicken wings

Add garlic, ginger, red wine and soy sauce

Simmer for 5 minutes

Toss in sesame seeds and honey

Cook until chicken is glossy and brown

Serve with steamed rice

STEAMED RICE

1 cup rice
2 cups water
1 tablespoon oil
1teaspoon salt


Heat oil in saucepan base

Lightly brown rice in oil – add water and salt

Simmer until cooked about 10 minutes
